Dr. Pauline G. Everette, LMSW, Ph.D.
Dr. Pauline Everette is a psychotherapist, lecturer, educator, mediator, and life coach. She has taught in the School of Social Work at Wayne State University since 1993. She is also a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance. She has over 30 years of experience specializing in work with adults and couples. She uses a broad range of theoretical orientations. Dr. Everette has advanced training in yoga and psychotherapy, couples therapy, and mindfulness- based techniques. She is level three of three trained in the Gottman approach and has completed Level One in Internal Family Systems (IFS). Dr. Everette is a certified trauma specialist. She works from a trauma informed perspective that allows individuals to heal from wounds caused by past or present stressful events.
Dr. Everette has a post graduate certificate in mediation and conflict resolution.
Also, Dr. Everette consults with organizations in the areas of crisis response, wellness, conflict resolution, cultural diversity, employee assistance programming, and the design of transformative learning educational programming. She is available to present workshops on topics related to spirituality, mental health and wellbeing, relationships and a variety of other topics.
